Pursuing frontier research is not only fun but also provides a great educational opportunity. This goes along with the educational mission of Kim laboratory: nurturing independent scientists who can use critical thinking to identify scientific questions, devise experiments, find right techniques, conduct experiments, interpret data, make logical conclusions, and write scientific articles.

We set an individualized career plan and break it down to bite-sized action steps. We meet weekly individually and as a group to evaluate the progress and ensure that individual students and postdocs are on the right career trajectories.
